7 Days yoga in Desert Morocco
Program:
The yoga Morocco desert trek program that we offer you is :
An unforgettable stay in the Sahara, in a private nomadic camp,
Where yoga and meditation are practised in a place of the specially chosen and adapted desert, where no presence disturbs the calm that reigns over the dunes,
Departure from Marrakech or Ouarzazate.
The internship is supervised and facilitated by a professional. Participants also have free time to enjoy the exceptional environment that the desert offers to walk, read, write… or other activities.
The program includes
- hiking in the desert with the camels.
- At the return of the desert, participants can enjoy a private hammam.
- Possibility to adapt meals to the diet of each (vegetarian,…).
Day 1: Departure from Marrakech/Ouarzazate – Arrival to Mhamid
The person in charge of your group will welcome you to Marrakech/Ouarzazate depending on the flight you have chosen. You will then take the road to the desert of Mhamid. If you arrive in Marrakech, you will have to count 6 hours more road. This first day will be devoted to the journey to the desert. Once you arrive at Mhamid, you will settle in a desert camp for the night.
Day 2 : Desert of Mhamid – trek and installation of the nomadic camp
After a first yoga session and breakfast, you will leave with the camels through the dunes. Lunch and resume of the desert hike. At the end of the day you will arrive at the chosen place to install the camp. In the evening, after dinner, enjoy the music and the nomadic songs.
Day 3 to 5 : Yoga practice in the Morocco desert – nomadic camp in the Sahara
The three days of your yoga Morocco desert that will follow the installation of the nomadic camp will be devoted to the practice of yoga, meditation and free activities. The Yoga internship is supervised by a professional with whom you will set the daily schedule.
Day 6 : back to Mhamid
On the morning of the 6th day of your yoga program in the Moroccan desert, you will find the camels and you will reach the village of M’hamid at the end of the day. When you arrive on site, you will enjoy a private hammam. In the evening, animation and dinner at the desert camp.
Day 7 : return to Marrakech/Ouarzazate
After spending the night in the desert camp in M’hamid, the next day you will return to Marrakech or Ouarzazate.
