This is Morocco’s most travelled desert route for a reason: a 3-day Marrakech desert tour to Merzouga taking in the High Atlas, Ait Benhaddou’s UNESCO kasbah, the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, before a camel trek into Erg Chebbi’s dunes.
It’s a private vehicle tour with a driver-guide throughout, spending one night in the Dades Valley and one night camping at Erg Chebbi, with sunrise over the dunes as the trip’s centrepiece before the return drive to Marrakech.
