Day 1 :

Marrakech to Ouarzazate

Marrakech to Tizi n'Tichka to Ait Benhaddou to Ouarzazate

The road climbs the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, with a stop at the UNESCO-listed kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

The day ends in Ouarzazate, nicknamed the 'Hollywood of Africa' for its film studios, with time to visit a studio set if you choose.

Day 2 :

Ouarzazate to Skoura

Ouarzazate to Skoura oasis

A short driving day to Skoura, an oasis town famous for its palm groves and historic kasbahs, including Kasbah Amridil.

The afternoon is free to wander the palmeraie on foot or by bike.

Day 3 :

Skoura to Dades Valley

Skoura to Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Dades Valley

The route follows the 'Road of a Thousand Kasbahs' through dramatic river-carved landscapes.

Overnight in the Dades Valley, among some of southern Morocco's most striking rock formations.

Day 4 :

Dades Valley to Merzouga

Dades Valley to Todra Gorge to Merzouga

A morning walk through Todra Gorge's 300-metre limestone walls precedes the drive toward the desert.

By late afternoon, camels carry you into Erg Chebbi for sunset, dinner around the campfire, and the first of two nights camping under the stars.

Day 5 :

Full Day in Erg Chebbi

Sunrise, free time and second night in the dunes

A full day to enjoy Erg Chebbi at its own pace — sandboarding, dune climbs for panoramic views, and time to rest through the midday heat.

A second night at the desert camp follows, with dinner and music around the fire.

Day 6 :

Return to Marrakech

Merzouga to Rissani to Marrakech

A final sunrise over the dunes precedes the drive back through Rissani's fossil country and Erfoud.

The route continues over the High Atlas to Marrakech, arriving by evening.
