Day 2 :

Zagora to Erg Chegaga

Zagora to Tamegroute to M'Hamid to Erg Chegaga

A stop in Tamegroute reveals a centuries-old library and traditional green pottery workshops before the road continues to M'Hamid, the last town before the true Sahara.

From M'Hamid, a 4x4 track leads into Erg Chegaga itself, where a camel ride among the dunes precedes a desert camp dinner and the first night camping under canvas or open sky.

Day 3 :

Erg Chegaga

Full day and second night at Erg Chegaga

A full day to explore Erg Chegaga at your own pace — climbing the highest dunes for sweeping views, sandboarding, and resting through the hottest hours.

A second night is spent camping among the dunes, with dinner and music around the fire.

Day 4 :

Return to Ouarzazate

Erg Chegaga to M'Hamid to Zagora to Ouarzazate
